Evaluation: Modified original | Showing 5390 miles, which are claimed to be original. Small scuff on the front bumper and a few more on the chin spoiler. Small paint blemish above the chin spoiler as well, along with another one on a back corner of the targa top. Very good interior. A mostly excellent, low-mile car from the final year of the original NSX. Located in Florida.
Bottom Line: Comptech made superchargers for NSXs, and this car had its blower installed at the dealer. The extra power must be intoxicating, but the owners resisted the urge to flog it. Offered at Mecum Monterey in 2016 with a reported high bid of $125,000, then sold at Auburn Fall a month later for $144,100. This price is high—it’s one of the most expensive NSXs we’ve seen at auction, but it isn’t shocking given the condition and the four-figure odometer reading.
