Evaluation: One of 300 Cobra Rs built for 2000 and showing just 566 miles. All 300 were finished in these colors and plenty of them have low miles, but this is still a neat sight for fourth gen fans.
Bottom Line: The fourth gen years (1994-04) weren’t the golden age for America’s pony car, but when it came out this SVT-developed Cobra R was the fastest factory Mustang ever produced, and it was pretty much track-ready. Not that anyone will be tracking this one. With this mileage and this price it’s a collector showpiece. A few other Cobra Rs have cracked six figures on Bring a Trailer before and a 623-mile car sold for $137,500 on BaT this January, but this is still just about top dollar.
