Evaluation: From the Rey collection. Delivered new to Atlanta, but exported to Monaco in 2018. Comes with invoices from 2002-21 that indicate regular service. Most recently serviced in 2021 at Vantage Motorworks in Florida to the tune of $38,000. Showing 31,664 miles and looks even cleaner than that number would suggest.
Bottom Line: The Continental SC (“Sedanca Coupe”) was based upon the concurrent Continental T Mulliner, but just 79 examples of the SC with its removable roof (an unusual option on a Bentley) were sold. With options and special-order items this car cost $326,260 when it was new, but modern Bentleys more than almost any other car tend to not hold onto much of their value after they become used. This is less true of rare ones like the Continental SC but it is still true. This one sold right in the middle of its estimate range, and it’s about as much as it could have hoped for. Two other ones also sold in the $200k range at auction in 2019.
