Evaluation: Early NSX that has covered a genuine 11,623 miles with one owner and along with service history, tools, manuals and two keys it also has the original Bridgestone tires, which have been replaced but which do come with the sale. Clearly a thoughtful owner. Superb, bright original paint. A smartly cleaned engine bay. Immaculate wheels, brakes, and inner arches. Lovely interior. A top quality car.
Bottom Line: The Honda NSX (only sold as an Acura in North America and Hong Kong) was the first truly daily drivable mid-engine exotic, and plenty of people used them that way. NSXs with significant mileage are neither unusual nor cause for concern, as their VTEC V6s are both robust and relatively straightforward to maintain.
A low-mile original like this, then, is much more exceptional than something like a Ferrari. That’s true on either side of the Atlantic. This price is near top dollar and should have been. The same car sold for a similar £110,880 at a Brightwells online auction in 2020.
Great car. NSX’s have moved beyond my willingness to pay though.
