Chassis No. 8921. White over tan leather. 3286-cc, 280-hp V-12, 5-speed manual. 6 Weber carbs, steel body, external fuel filler, Marchal fog lights, center-lock alloy wheels (wire wheels included), torque tube, covered headlights, console-mounted Jaeger chronometer, Blaupunkt multiband radio, tool roll, books, jack. Internal No. 634/64.

Evaluation: Visually maintained, largely original | Old partial repaint with some cracks and crazing. Curb rash on wheels. Thin, scuffed chrome trim. Sound but soiled and faded original upholstery. Tidy engine compartment shows age, along with some fuel staining and oil-mist residue. Delivered with the six-carburetor intake and external fuel filler it has today. Never fully restored. A quality car of exceptional provenance.

Bottom Line: The six-carb engine and external fuel filler are desirable options, but the big premium here owes to the car’s originality and, perhaps, that it has never been painted red. Both buyer and seller should be content with the result.
