Evaluation: Older restoration | Kurt Tanner restoration. Very good paint and chrome. Clean top with restored, painted top frame. Clean chassis. The restored interior has new dash wood, and some of the gauges have been refreshed. Clean underneath with few signs of use. Triumphs aren’t worth a ton of money, so corners are often cut when somebody restores one—not so with this TR4A. Gorgeous.
Bottom Line: Sold at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach 2009 for $37,400. Its restoration doesn’t look to have aged much, and TR4s are, if anything, worth more than they were back then. It is a solid value on a charming car with no needs.
