Evaluation: Sound repaint with dust inclusions. Good chrome and replacement upholstery and interior trim. Orderly engine compartment. Represented as a factory-built Fuelie but has a “period-correct” engine with no engine number noted or photographed. Much attention paid to underhood detail descriptions. An intriguing model and rare in the 210 trim level 4-Door Hardtop style, without documentation from new.
Bottom Line: A ’57 Chevy 210 4-Door Hardtop is a rare and noteworthy car all by itself and the result here is not out of line for this one’s condition. As a practical matter, then, the 283/250hp FI engine is essentially free, as it should be in the absence of definitive evidence this is how it was delivered.
