Evaluation: The paint looks older and was never great to begin with, as there are several spots with orange peel as well as uneven masking around the windshield and roof. The bed is also a little beat up underneath a thick old respray. There is some oxidation and surface rust underneath but nothing rotten or broken. The interior is presentable. It’s no beauty queen but it was never supposed to be. It has been restored to casual truck standards and in a world full of classic Fords and Chevys, this I-H will still turn heads. Considering how many of these were used up at farms and factories, this one is impressive for even existing at all.
Bottom line: Considering this charming old pickup’s rarity and what some other vintage with better-known badges are selling for these days, it’s a great value at this price. It’s cool and it’s affordable, and good luck finding another one in any kind of condition.
