Chassis no. 915913; Engine no. 928316. Maroon over light grey cloth. 2443/105hp, three Weber 36D02 carburetors, column shift 4-speed, chrome spoke Borrani wire wheels, Michelin tires, Clayton heater.

Evaluation: Meticulously and comprehensively restored to better than new condition with excellent paint, chrome, aluminum brightwork, upholstery and engine compartment. The restoration is about 10 years old but despite being used in driving events like the 2017 Mille Miglia could have been done a year ago.

Bottom Line: The 6C 2500 SS Villa d’Este is a wonderful combination of a great engine, chassis and one of Touring’s best body designs. In this case it’s crowned by a high-quality restoration and careful preservation and brought a fully deserved price.
