Evaluation: Mediocre old repaint. Dull, scratched bright trim. Worn upholstery with crude repairs to some split seams. Ancient undercoat underneath. Scratched windshield. Appears to be sound but has many needs, not the least of them being a restoration. One of ten believed bodied by Pinin Farina with this coachwork.
Bottom Line: Dull, poorly proportioned coachwork that thankfully was inflicted on only ten postwar Aprilias. Then given a superficial “restoration” appropriate to the coachwork. It could be a star but it will take everything to make it into one and at this base investment does not make any sense at all. This result is a breathtaking premium over regular production Aprilias (the last model designed under Vincenzo Lancia’s leadership).
